I'm an associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling of National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, and I lead Team ERICA. Dr. Gao-Xian Lin received his Ph.D. in Psychology from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium. His current research interests focus on the analysis of parenting practices and parental well-being in specific cultural contexts. He recently joined the team to investigate the intersection between parenting and emotions. You can find more about him at his website.

Hello! I am pursuing a Master’s degree in counseling psychology at NTHU. I also have a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. My research focuses on parent-child relationships as well as intimate relationships. I deeply enjoy and appreciate literature, for I think writers are some of the most brilliant people at capturing the complexity and beauty of humanity. I also love writing a journal and have a pretty impressive collection of stationery!

I am a graduate student in the Counseling Psychology department of NTHU. I am interested in basic psychological theories. My research interests are emotion, romantic relationships, and gratitude. I like singing, playing the cello and photography!

I am a graduate student majoring in psychology at NTHU. My current research interests are nostalgia and gratitude. I also enjoy learning various statistical methods for quantitative data.

I am a counseling teacher who delves into a myriad of family stories, aspiring to help each child I engage with emerge as a resilient individual capable of turning their childhood into power for personal healing. I often journey through remote regions in Taiwan, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. The aim is to share my experiences with communities and the public, with an emphasis on the importance of integrating the intricacies of intimate relationships into parental education within family settings.

I'm a Ph.D. student in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling at National Tsing Hua University. Prior to joining the lab, I worked on affective neuroscience and fMRI studies in the CHAN lab at NTHU. I got my B.S. in psychology and B.M. in music (majoring in the piano) from Soochow University, Taiwan. I then received an M.A. in musicology from National Taiwan University, where I studied the audience’s emotional responses to movie soundtracks under Dr. Chen-gia Tsai. My research interests are music cognition and music education. Outside of my academic life, I work as a piano teacher. (I’m the central one in the picture.)

I am an undergraduate student who is double majoring in psychology and economics at NTHU. I'm interested in interpersonal relationships, astronomy and space-related things. Sounds cool, right? I like milk tea, too. My current research exams the mental health of astronauts in extreme environments.

Currently, I’m a senior student at National Tsing Hua University who majors in both psychology and medical science. I’m interested in many things that are related to humans, so I take (too) many courses that are related to psychology and biology. And that’s why my friends usually say that they think I look like a tired sleepy panda (especially the “yururin panda”).

I am a third-year student in the Educational Psychology and Counseling Department at Tsing Hua University. I am interested in interpersonal relationships and art psychotherapy because I have been studying dance since I was three. Currently, I am the captain of the NTHU cheerleading team and also work as a dance teacher outside of school. 

Human internal processing has always been fascinating to me and led me to determine to venture into this field. Ways and methods to interpret and indicate this process always draw my attention, and my interest in research that sheds light on basic psychological concepts or knowledge is usually stronger than for applied psychological studies. Finally, I am a senior student majoring in psychology at National Tsing Hua University, and an RA in ERICA lab at the same time. I was also the vice director of the Kendo club at NTHU, and now a sho-dan kenshi.
